The Stripper's blades attach to the propeller shaft and cut away dangerous obstructions while the shaft turns. A fixed cutter is mounted in bearings integral with the rotating cutter creating a powerful shearing action as the blades pass each other. A striker plate mounted on the stern gear (strut) locks the fixed cutter, while also allowing the shaft both axial and radial movement. the simple, trouble free mechanism absorbs all vibrations, noises or rumblings and there is never any wear on the shaft. The needle sharp teeth extend to the very tips of the blades for maximum cutting power. Installation is straight forward ond does not require removal of the propeller.
